It started from a humble beginning. After his wedding, Engr. Reynaldo Derecho decided to start a construction business in Cagayan de Oro City. In February 1997, together with his colleague in college, he was given a labor only contract for the construction of the covered court of St. Francis Learning Center of Capitol University. After successfully completing the project, they formed a partnership and established the Wellvision Builders, Co. with a starting capital of only P10,000.00 and a jeepy for their transportation needs and a home office at Xavier Heights Subdivision. Engr. Derecho functioned as the purchaser, foreman, and field engineer and at the same time the driver while his partner was the payroll master and handled the cash. Among their projects, were the demolition of 3rd Floor of CCC General Hospital after it was razed by a fire, various residential units at Morning Mist, Camella Homes, Pueblo de Oro, perimeter fencing of La Buena Vida Subd., and the Multipurpose Covered Court of The Way Ministries.

However, the partnership did not last long since his business partner wanted to focus more on structural engineering and as engineering review instructor. Engr. Derecho moved on with the construction business. He registered the firm as a sole proprietorship venture with the name of Enrogel Construction and his own residence at La Buena Vida Subd. served as the office.

By July 1998, the company was awarded various projects namely: Material and Labor contracts of 2-storey residential bldg. at Nazareth Subd., construction of two storey residential bldg with attic at Apovel subd., other various constructions and renovations of residential building in different subdivisions, and one of the subcontractors of the Steel City Corporation working on government projects involving the construction of one-storey 1,2 to 4 classrooms at different barrios in Misamis Oriental and Bukidnon.

From that time on, more projects came and the office was transferred to Room 201, LMB Bldg., Tiano corner Gomez streets, Cagayan de Oro City. With the new office, and the growing number of employees to manage, his wife availed of the early retirement program of the company where she was working and joined him in managing the construction business. Since 2001, she takes charge of the Administration and Accounting Section of the company.

In 2003, they hired additional employees, and by 2004 the company had already its own driver, a purchaser, a warehouseman and three field engineers. Moreover, vehicles and equipment were also purchased which included a Nissan Frontier as service vehicle, a backhoe, and a mini dumptruck. It also moved to a larger office room in the same building to accommodate the expansion of the company and its staff.

On December 2004, Enrogel Construction Corp. was incorporated with an authorized capital of P2M. Another driver, four engineers, three warehousemen, and three foremen were added to the increasing number of employees.

The company acquired an almost half a hectare lot at District 2, Canitoan, Macapagal Drive, Cagayan de Oro City paid on installment to Secured Savings Bank in 2005. The warehouse and fabrication sections were constructed in that place. While waiting for the road to be concretized prior the construction of the office building, the Administration and Accounting and Engineering Office remained at LMB Bldg. A payloader, a dumptruck, and a boomtruck were also purchased as additional heavy equipment. Finally, after two years of waiting, the Enrogel office was constructed at Canitooan on April 2007. On October 24, 2007 the GFP (Gods Favor and Provision) Bldg. was inaugurated and since then serves as the headquarters of Enrogel Construction Corp. with 24 employees.

In 2008, the company completed its labor-contract of 6-storey building with basement at the Capitol University. By September 2008, its Capital Stock was increased to P20M and at present is upgrading its PCAB License.
